I am the CEO and founder of Creative Visual Solutions. I have 30 years of Retail Management and Visual Merchandising experience. I have a BA of Science in Retail degree from Purdue University. Milwaukee, WI is my home town and now I reside in Paramount, CA. I am a member of BRAG ( Black Retail Action Group) and the International Association of Women.
Throughout my career as a Retail Manager and Regional/District Visual Manager I have had the privilege of driving sales and results for some of the countries best retailers such as The Gap, Porsche Design, Ann Taylor, Express, New York and Co., Forever 21, Agaci, and Sports Authority. While at Sports Authority, I had the pleasure of collaborating visually with some the country’s best brands including Nike, Adidas, UA, The North Face, and Columbia.
During my career, I have helped these brands increase their sales by up to 30% and traffic up to 20%! Also, throughout my career I have trained and mentored over 200 Retail and Visual managers and leaders in Visual Merchandising strategies and techniques.
Some fun facts about me:
- I am a huge sports nut! My favorite teams are the Packers and the Lakers! And no, I am not a bandwagon fan. I have been a Laker fan since I was 6!
- Traveling is a passion of mine. I like anything tropical and warm and I have a bucket list that I am checking off yearly. (So far Italy, France, and Spain are done!)
- I am a huge make-up head! I haven’t met a matte lippie that I didn’t like.
- I am a trained dancer and choreographer. I’ve been dancing since I was 6. I am trained in modern and jazz. I have traveled across the country dancing with my dance team at Purdue University. And I have danced liturgical dance in my local church for 10 years.
